MURALS

FEATURED PROJECT

BRAZILIAN WORKERS CENTER

Working in collaboration with the organization, I designed and painted a large mural entitled The Power of Hope. See more of the process in my full case study.

From the two-sentence description of our vision right through the vivacious dance party in our driveway to celebrate our splendid new work of art, Eric truly became a member of our community of hope and help. His skill enabled us to express our values and optimism through our breathtaking work of public art. We recommend enthusiastically his abilities to realize any organization or business’s creative expression through an uplifting and meaningful process.

DRAFTKINGS

The first one is in the Draftkings Las Vegas office celebrating the company and city as they break ground in new territory. I worked to integrate aspects of both Draftkings and Las Vegas into this mural to celebrate the combination of the company and city.

Next is a mural for the Draftkings suite at Gillette Stadium, this pulls inspiration from the city of Boston and the variety of events that take place there.

CANTAB UNDERGROUND

I was selected to paint a mural at the lower stage of The Cantab Lounge in Central Sq, Cambridge. This is one of the few remaining venues that has been around for ages and houses a variety of acts from bands to DJs to comedy nights. Having spent plenty of evenings there myself, it was surreal to leave my mark.

The goal was to create a lively, colorful mural that will serve as the backdrop of the stage while also including “Cantab Underground” in there - the rest was up to me. My approach was to bring the bold colors and shapes but not so much that it takes away from the acts that will be in front of it. The final touch is the bottom left corner that references an area known as Graffiti Alley that is unique to the Central Sq neighborhood and was a blast to bring to life.

EMERSON HOSPITAL

I painted these 2 murals for the Emergency Behavioral Health Department at Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA. These rooms will be used specially for teens and young adults so the goal was to create an interesting, youth inspired design with a calm color palette. I drew a lot of inspiration from abstract street art that use flowing lines and shapes to create a composition that is calming to look at yet still fun. The colors are muted blues and greens to be easy on the eyes yet still stand out from the typical hospital walls around them.

FALMOUTH AIRBNB

Set in a picturesque yard, this is at an Airbnb in Falmouth, MA creating a backdrop for a great weekend away highlighting the coastal attributes of the area.

BIG OCEAN

I worked with the owners of Big Ocean to take their logo of the mermaid holding a camera and bring it to life. Creating hints of water and sea creatures around it, there’s now a nice backdrop where clients come to work with them.

LET’S TEAM UP

I’m always looking for new opportunities and am comfortable working with teams big and small to bring your ideas to life.
