FORMULA ONE LIMITED EDITION GNOME ANIMATION
Formula One designed a one-of-a-kind garden gnome for VIP members at their races based in America. I was asked to create a promotional video telling the story of how it arrived at its very first race in Miami. Pulling inspiration from race movies, I storyboarded the trip it took from Las Vegas to Miami, keeping it short and to the point.
Only provided with the art of the gnome, I illustrated everything else in Fresco and Illustrator then brought it all to life in After Effects.

I started with a storyboard that I used as my guide throughout the animation. Small changes were made as I got started, but this was my framework. I kept it simple, using a story of getting from Point A to Point B.
Next, I opened up Adobe Fresco to begin illustrating the world to match the style of the existing gnome artwork.
