BULLYING PREVENTION CAMPAIGN ILLUSRATIONS AND ANIMATION

I partnered with MORE Advertising again to help with their Bullying Prevention campaign. Provided with descriptions and outlines of each character, I began by illustrating each character. Once the illustrations were done, I moved over to After Effects and animated the :15 video you see below. We kept the comic-book aesthetic to inject energy to the characters and animation.

The full resource is available here, designed by the talented people at MORE, using my illustrations and animations.

THE CHALLENGE

The goal was to create characters who look 10-12 years old and may be prone to bullying while still appearing optimistic. MORE gave me key characteristics to work into each character, but it was up to me to make them look age-appropriate. We kept the colors bright and stylish on purpose, with outfits anyone their age might wear.

ILLUSTRATIONS

I pulled inspiration from anime—particularly its expressive character design and ability to convey emotion through subtle visual cues. The result was a clean, stylized look that balanced emotional depth with approachability.
