WELCOME TO BOSTON, BUT DON’T GET STORROWED

This is a self-initiated yearly project inspired by real events in the city:

There’s an old road in Boston called Storrow Drive that has some low-hanging bridges. When a truck driver ignores the signage and goes on Storrow Drive, they get stuck under the low-hanging bridges, which is called a “Storrowing.”

After seeing this repeatedly, I couldn’t help but picture a wrestler clotheslining someone, and thus The Storrower was born. Visit my shop to bring him home!

The first illustration from 2021 inspired by “Welcome to…” postcards created for cities.

In 2022 I took inspiration from old boxing posters to further the development of “The Storrower” as a character.

2023 brought the first Storrowed stickers to slap up wherever you see fit

In 2024 I brought The Storrower to his home turf as he protects his roads on the back drop of an actual sign.

For 2025 I drew from my love for baseball and made custom baseball cards with a one of a kind bat to match as well.
